Challenge yourself, have fun and make a difference

Dip 4 Dementia.jpg

Set yourself a sponsored challenge and raise funds to help us support people living with dementia in West Sussex and their loved ones.

Have you ever dreamed of running a marathon, swimming the English Channel or climbing Mount Snowdon but you need an added motivator?

Your challenge doesn't even need to be on such a large scale. Whatever you choose to do in aid of Sage House, you can be sure that it will make all the difference to us. So, why not set yourself a challenge and raise money for people living with dementia by getting yourself sponsored to complete it? Here are some ideas:

  • Marathons – a lifetime goal for many and a great way to raise funds.

  • Cycle Rides – you could challenge yourself to cycle 10k, 20k or even more!

  • Walk or Run – get some friends together and pick a route which includes some nice pubs to stop at along the way.

  • Sit-ups, Star Jumps or any other exercise – set your challenge, share it on social media and collect the sponsorship!

  • Break A World Record – there is a whole host of weird and whacky ones out there to take your fancy!

  • Swimming Challenge – tailor it to your swimming ability for an achievable challenge to be proud of once it's complete.

Or check out our Appreciation Zone to see what others have done.

Once you have chosen an event, or set your own challenge, then you can create a JustGiving Page here: Dementia Support - JustGiving

Anyone raising more than £50 can claim a free Dementia Support t-shirt for their event. Kindly sponsored by Cameron James Legal.
